System Foundation – Interactive Dialogue  

The principal modality employed within our KiConscious™ system is spirited interactive dialogue between Michael Nicklin and each client; a process of shared inquiry - mindful, focused and intentional conversation allowing each individual to uniquely identify quantifiable improvements they wish to see in themselves. In session dialogue, we seek to set aside fears and preconceptions, so as to nurture the client to cast aside negative and counterproductive internal programming, in order to hear new voices and possibilities. This may often bring with it temporary periods of tension and paradox, from which new ideas, new ways of doing, and collective wisdom may emerge and bloom. This engagement of dialogue is to aid each client in the formation of new foundations from which to think and act upon, and strengthen their directed action toward the future – all based on their self-identified agendas.  

During KiConscious sessions, clients will be fully immersed in a supportive and non-judgmental environment created to inquire, challenge, and stimulate critical thinking and new ways of perceiving, interpreting, creating, problem-solving and acting, often resulting in new behaviors, improved personal performance and in many cases, positive lifestyle transformations. One key area of focus is to improve the individual’s understanding of self and their impact on others; particularly those with different needs and wants from them. These outcomes may encompass improved aspects such as behavior, attitude, accountability, relationship skills, professional performance, and reaching heightened self-awareness. We guide each client through the introduction of new habits, thoughts, and beliefs supporting the life they wish/seek to live.   

The KiConscious process is a hybrid of consulting and coaching models, built upon the asking of probative thought-provoking questions to understand “who” each client uniquely is, their talents, gifts, abilities, perceptions, and filters. These questions, exercises, and experiences are designed to tap into one’s ‘inner wisdom.’ We use the results of this ongoing process to help each individual uncover their own answers and apply our expertise to help determine and facilitate the best course of action, inspired choices, and life path directions for achieving their desired goals. 

From a coaching perspective, we take an active interest in each client’s development and are here to help them to obtain answers. Reflecting a consulting perspective, we always seek to provide, only when asked, answers, solutions and actionable steps one should take to reach an intended result. We view coaching as a form of consulting, in that we assist every one of our clients to solve problems, reach desired goals, design action-oriented plans, and create the powerful results. We take a more broad ‘coaching’ view of all issues affecting one’s professional career and life and then incorporate those strategies in a holistic sense. We also help you to move away from fruitless, uncreative and counterproductive aspects of your life that don't work and toward things more in line with whom you authentically are and what you ultimately want. Life transitions are easier to navigate when worked through with guidance and support. 

Our goal is to provide you with expert direction that is not only professionally accurate and workable, but also something you can work with effortlessly and comfortably – and of which resonates with whom you are. Though one approach may achieve a desired outcome, if it is not in line with who you are and what you are comfortable doing, we will work with you to determine other ways to reach the same ‘destination.’ We respect your right to make your own choices and do those things that resonate with who you are. The choices and ultimate decision-making is always in your hands and at your control.

Tarot Interpretation

Michael Nicklin is an intuitive tarot interpreter [reader] and teacher. He leverages the archetypal pictorial language of the ancient cartomantic practice of tarot card reading to assist in helping clients connect with their innermost wisdom. Interpreting the major and minor arcana of the tarot card deck helps Michael keenly focus his intuitive gifts to get to the core of underlying energy obstacles, see patterns and their underlying systems. In addition to leveraging tarot as an information-gathering and dialogue-igniting tool during KiConscious sessions, he also provides private tarot interpretations for select clients, teaches a six-week Introduction to Intuitive Tarot course he designed, provides ‘readings’ for special events, and hosts informal tarot gatherings for fellow readers in Los Angeles, California.

Tarot interpretations offer clients a unique opportunity to view aspects of their life from an objective spiritual perspective and find guidance, intuitive counsel and answers to their questions. The tarot can provide a snapshot of one’s present life, as well as salient insights to help make better informed and empowered life decisions, identify energetic influences around you, locate and overcome blockages or obstacles, make personal choices, see underlying reasons behind events in your life, and show you likely options of where you are headed if you continue on the same path. 

Tarot is an empowering and valuable tool for tapping into your intuition and using that insight to make educated decisions leading you to a more fulfilling and vibrationally resonant life. During a reading, based on the fact that the client selects their cards, each individual will access information that they already know, albeit often on a subconscious or superconscious plane. It is your superconscious mind that holds the blueprint or script for all that you have set out to achieve in your current lifetime.  The tarot can reveal the future you are creating based on your own free will, and if you do not like that outcome or feel it is not ideal to reaching your destiny, you may seek to observe the outcome of another path choosing your steps wisely.

Reiki Energy

Michael Nicklin is a Certified Reiki Master with extensive multi-faceted training, certified by the International Center for Reiki Training. He has studied under the aegis of several ICRT teachers including founder William Rand and Associate Teacher Colleen Benelli. Michael is a Professional Member of the ICRT, and abides by their Code of Ethics.  

Viewing energy work as a non-material reality, Michael began using energy work as part of his spiritual practices in his 20s. The fact that his connection to energy extended well beyond the five senses drove Michael to pursue a formalized approach to his energy work, leading him to Reiki. Perhaps the most widely known form of energy work in the United States, it is said to have originated around 1914 in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui, who received the knowledge of the practice during a mystical experience. 

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "universal life energy," also referred to as ‘chi,’ ‘ki,’ ‘qi,’ ‘prana,’ ‘mana,’ the bio-energetic field, and many other designations. With the combination of intuitive and clairvoyant abilities and practical application of Kanji symbols, Reiki invokes a subtle and powerful energy that is intangible. The experience often begins with the practitioner slowly moving their hands through the air a few inches to a few feet away from one’s body, scanning energetic bodies, or using a stone pendulum over the body, to help in identifying the presence of energetic imbalances or blockages. The Reiki practitioner then uses specific hand positions, corresponding to particular organs and energy centers of interest, to focus and direct energy to trigger an individual’s own healing response. Reiki helps remove energetic blocks within the mind, body and spirit to balance and align the human energy field. Each of the chakras play a specific role in one’s overall health and spirituality. When a chakra becomes stressed or blocked this can have a negative effect on the organs in that region of the body and can also contribute to negative emotional states, such as depression or anxiety. Chakra balancing is one of the most common results from a Reiki session.

Reiki has been proven to have a clear and defined impact on states of physical and emotional health and wellbeing and mental functioning, according to a growing number of scientific studies. The treatment is intended to remove those blocks, create flow and harmony, restore strength and vitality and balance the entire system for optimum serenity. People often feel grounded, alert, clear, more balanced and calm, and find that they are able to resolve problems more easily, or state that their relationship to a problem changes. Many find that managing stress and bodily taxing situations is easier and that they have heightened creative energy.

KiConscious Reiki and Guided Meditations may take place on the Richway Professional Biomat 7000.  The entire Biomat surface is covered with channels containing 17.5 pounds of Korean amethyst - a meditative and calming stone with its own unique vibration which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide balance, patience, and peace and is an asset for those who have issues with focusing and concentration. Amethyst is primarily associated with the third eye and crown chakras, and is believed to activate spiritual awareness, open intuition and enhance psychic abilities.  Its serenity enhances higher states of consciousness during meditation and lucid dreaming during sleep.  

Reiki should not be used to replace conventional care or to postpone seeing a health care provider about a health problem. If you have severe or long-lasting symptoms, see your health care provider. You may have a health problem that needs prompt treatment. Tell all your health care providers about any complementary health approaches you use. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care. 

Crystal Energy

Michael Nicklin’s intrinsic attraction to crystals and minerals manifested as a child when he collected stones and became a lapidary artist. A lifelong private collector, he formalized his use of crystals for spiritual intention and as conduits for creating and receiving energy from the higher realms by studying Reiki Crystal Healing with Laurelle Shanti Gaia at Infinite Light Healing Studies Center in Sedona, Arizona.  Michael often leverages the use of crystals in various ways as part of the KiConscious process, using Reiki-charged crystals as well as stones he has collected from around the world. 

These stones, each with its own native characteristics and vibrational state, are powerful tools in aiding the practitioner to release etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual blocks, balance chakras, brighten the aura, remove blockages and circulate energy, and promoting wellbeing of body, mind and spirit. It is believed that the interaction between the stones and chakras will return a chakra to healthy vibration, therefore healing the part of the body affected. A unique set of gems and minerals are also often curated and recommended by Michael to clients of KiConscious for their effects in increasing dream recall, accessing superconscious messages during sleep, and in allowing one to delve deeper into the dream state and lucid dreaming, then translating the dream experiences into lessons for one’s waking life. Dreams offer humans a strong connection to our spirit guides, higher purpose, and intuition.

All gemstones contain a crystalline structure, which can collect, focus and emit electromagnetic energy (a form of energy that is reflected or emitted from objects in the form of electrical and magnetic waves that can travel through space). Crystals work with the human energy field and can move, absorb, focus, direct and diffuse energy within the body. If thoughts in our minds create our realities, and Quartz Crystal has the ability to amplify and magnify those thoughts, the energy is invaluable.
